My daughter

Hello, my name is Wendy (Ana) Schofield. I am fund raising for my 59 year old daughter Sally Kaleo RN to help her pay over $25,000 in medical expenses. After 23 years of nursing, Sally collapsed, mentally and physically, in February 2023. She was working in a hospital as a bedside nurse on 12 hour night shifts-often no breaks-and sometimes 6-7 patients to care for when 2-3 at a time is recommended. In March 2023 Sally was hospitalized in Intensive care with a heart condition, a large bleeding ulcer, extreme anemia, dehydration and loss of memory. Nine days total hospitalization. No insurance. Long recovery, if in fact she can work again. I, her Mom at age 81 and in poor health, am taking care of her.
