Hi everyone!
I am currently in my second year as a 2nd Grade teacher at Learning Without Limits, in Fruitville Oakland. School started this week and I was nothing short of excited! Not only did I get to reconnect with students from last year, but I also got to connect with 20 more students and their families!
But... what was the first thing I heard? That families were hungry. That they had lost their jobs. They had no shampoo left. They had no diapers left for their babies. They are sick and homebound with COVID and that they are out of money. My heart breaks for each story that I hear and that is not even half of it.
But the good news is...I can help and you can too. I plan on using all money raised to create a basket of supplies for students and their families. I am hoping to get shampoo, conditioner, lotion, feminine products, spaghetti, beans, rice, flour, etc.
If you would prefer to donate supplies, please let me know and we can arrange a pick up or drop off! Anything helps!
