Noah Wayne Dickerson

I have created this fundraiser for my friend, Katie, Noah’s mother. This is her story:

“Where do I begin? Noah started having noticeable seizures at 9 weeks old. That was our first traumatizing hospital stay. We were eventually sent home with a good luck pat on the shoulder and a pile of brain altering medications to try.

I had just returned to work as a licensed insurance agent after being on maternity leave. I had to take more time off due to the seizures. Once we got home from the hospital I went back to work and Noah’s seizures came back again. That was our second hospital stay. We were eventually sent home with a diagnosis of Dravet syndrome and another pile of medications. I returned to work and the seizures kept coming back. I eventually was encouraged by the company I worked for to step down. That’s when we were forced to take a leap of faith and create Dickerson’s Home Improvement.

God blessed our small business and we built many beautiful structures to support our family over the past three years. We managed to keep our small business alive during the Covid pandemic while also nursing our very ill child. We simply cannot work anymore. God sustained our bodies and our minds to provide for our family and now we humbly ask for donations toward Noah’s outstanding medical bills from before he qualified for SSI. We have new bills bills piling up and we somehow have to manage to also fund a funeral fit for a beautiful little precious baby boy like Noah.

We thank you for your support of our family during the incredible loss of our son Noah Wayne Dickerson. We do not mourn like those who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him.”

Please, there is soo little we can do, but helping financially will at least ease a tiny bit of the burden. I am asking all of you as my friends to please donate what you can.
