Help Save Barney!

Barney is a lovable, feisty pony who came to me a month ago for assessment/training. Someone purchased him at an auction, discovered he wasn't rideable, and sent him my way. Despite having an in-your-pocket personality, we quickly discovered that he had immense distrust of people--flinching every time someone tried to touch him--and was likely abused. We decided to back off on riding and focus on regaining his trust. A month has passed and it is now time to either send him back (where he would likely go to auction and the kill pen), or get creative and try to keep him here. He needs considerable time, attention, and TLC. He is 20 years old and has cataracts in both eyes. Please help us raise the money so that we can buy him and offset some of the cost associated with his care. We want to make sure he is healthy and happy and to ensure he is never again hurt by a human being. All funds raised will go to his purchase and ongoing care.
