Ukrainian Refugees

Hello, my name is Carrie and I am asking for your help with a Ukrainian mother, Larysa and her 11 year old daughter Nadyia. My boyfriend, Voytek is Polish born and moved here to the United States in 2006, where he then became a United States Marine and is an active duty, Special Operations Marine Raider. A friend in California reached out to him on Friday 2/25/22, asking for help to get his co-workers daughter and granddaughter out of Ukraine. They had no gas for their vehicle, as gas is only available to military vehicles. They ran as missiles fell nearby their home.  Voytek has been able to coordinate with friends and family in Poland as Larysa and Nadyia boarded a train to Poland’s boarder.

Larysa and her daughter are staying with Voytek’s friends and family in northern Poland, until they can get enough money to fly to California where her mother is living. They will need funds to travel and start a new life away from Ukraine, as their home and town was severely damaged by the Russian attacks. Any help you can offer will be appreciated. This is only 2 of thousands of Ukrainians that are having their lives disrupted by this invasion. Please help however you can.
