HELP THE KRECKOW FAMILY REBUILD AFTER A HOUSE FIRE

In the early hours of Sunday, September 21st, the Kreckow family's home was devastated by fire. While the flames were contained to the basement and stairwell, the entire house sustained significant smoke damage, forcing the family to be displaced indefinitely.

Thankfully Lance and Brandi were able to get their five children; Aaden (a senior at SCHS), Lilly (a sophomore at SCHS), Jayse (a 5th grader), and twins Gavin and Rosie (4th graders) along with their three dogs, (Zarah, Bixby and Xena) out of the house safely.

ABOUT THE KRECKOW FAMILY

The Kreckows are a big-hearted family who pour themselves into their community. Lance serves on the Dover Fire Department and works for HBC doing rural tower work. Brandi is a full-time midwifery student at the Midwives College of Utah and currently in clinical training with local area midwives. She also works part time at Cabin Coffee in St. Charles. Their children are busy with school and activities, and their dogs are a central part of family life.

THE NEED

Presently, the Kreckows face the immediate costs of temporary housing, clothing, food, school supplies and replacing daily essentials. On top of that, Lance and Brandi are missing work while coordinating inspections, insurance details and transportation for their children. There will likely also be insurance gaps that will necessitate significant out-of-pocket expenses.

Long-term they will need to repair and restore their home over the coming months so that the family can once again be together under one roof and the children can feel safe again.

HOW YOU CAN HELP

Your donation will go directly to the Kreckow family for:
*Temporary housing and meals.
*Replacing smoke damaged clothing and essentials for the children.
*Keeping their family dogs cared for and close during displacement.
*Filling any financial gaps not covered by insurance as they rebuild.

Every contribution, no matter the size, will help to ease the financial and emotional burden on this family and to give them the space to focus on healing, stability and moving forward.

A MESSAGE OF GRATITUDE

The Kreckows express deep gratitude for the outpouring of love and support from their community, friends and family. In moments such as this, the kindness of others makes all the difference. Whether you're able to donate, share their story, or keep them in your thoughts, your support means the world to them.

Thank you so much for helping this family to get back on their feet after such a devastating loss.
