Hello friends of Anna Burdette!
As some of you know, Anna is expecting her second child, a little boy, in mid-November. Anna and her husband, Sam, moved to Charleston, S.C in May 2018 for Sam's employment. They purchased a new home there in May. During hurricane Florence in early September, Anna was diagnosed with colon and liver cancer. She has returned to Morgantown, WV for treatment and will be there for at least 12-18 months.
Anna is a very strong young woman, having competed as a pole vaulter in college and later martial arts at a world class level. She began coaching gymnastics and has coached at several clubs in West Virginia and South Carolina. She is also a member of NAWGJ and has been an official for 4 years.
Anna and Sam are fighting this diagnosis with all that they have, but could use your help. We would appreciate any support you can give and ask you to please support this campaign by sharing with ouor gymnastics community and others that know Anna and her zest for life!
