It’s hard not to ask why such a lovely and thoughtful person is fighting through an aggressive diagnosis of breast cancer, one that will take her entire reproductive system and that will threaten her pancreas too (on top of a double mastectomy) but there is no explanation, no answers just her daily fight through the complications of this disease and the side effects from chemo.

At 36 years old my good friend Esmeralda, her two boys and husband need your support and I need yours to help me help her. With the loss of her income, financial burden is real, and if you have lived through this disease directly or indirectly you understand that it takes a village of friends, family and even strangers to get through it.

Your contribution of any amount will help ease her monthly bills and ensure her family’s basic necessities and safety. She has had 6 rounds of chemo and only now has left her job. I can’t imagine what that has been like for her but I know it’s time to lean on others for support.
