Remembering Fred

Frederique Tano or Fred as she was affectionately known passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, May 20 after enduring two successive operations in within 1 week. It is hard to express the profound sorrow we all feel within the PC/Senegal extended family.
Fred was an amazing human being - a gentle soul, a beautiful spirit, with an ability to give so fully and generously of herself. As the HR Specialist, she was known for her great discretion. She served PC faithfully, loyally and with total devotion.
Fred was a single mother to 9 year-old daughter Sahra whom she loved more than life itself. When you saw Fred, you saw Sahra. They slept together in the same bed.
We cannot begin to imagine what a blow this is to Sahra. But we can help make sure that her needs are covered until Fred's estate is settled, and maybe beyond. Thank you for generosity.
I will collect the funds in a separate bank account and deliver whatever we receive at regular intervals to Sahra's grandmother in whose care she is currently.
The world is simply not the same without you in Fred.
