Update: The complex determined that the damage was too extensive and was going to take longer than they expected so now we have to find another place to live and move our stuff out as soon as possible.

Hi everyone! I really hate to ask for help, but I’m not sure what else we can do. Two days ago, we had a fire in our apartment and now we have nowhere to go until they are able to fix the apartment, which could take anywhere from three weeks to a month.

These last three months have been very hard on us and we have been through a lot. We just moved in a week ago and used up all of our savings to move. My family consists of myself, my daughter, my son-in-law, and my three grandchildren. My oldest grandson is fully disabled, and we need a place to stay where his nurses can come in during the week.

We do not have enough money to pay for a hotel, so I’m asking for your help. I appreciate anything you can do.
