Natalie has been diagnosed with stage 3 Esophageal Cancer and can no longer work. As we help her transition into battle mode to fight this evil that grows within her, there are many obstacles to overcome. Not the least of which is the financial burden associated with battling this horrible disease.
Not only is she faced with the costs of surgeries and chemotherapy coupled with radiation treatments, but also the day to day costs of housing and utilities but additionally the food costs that she now has as she is fed through a feeding tube placed in her stomach. You see, Natalie can no longer eat solid food as her cancer has to grown to such size that almost completely blocks anything from reaching her stomach by mouth.
As we race to get her into a Social Security and Medicare - Medicaid arena, the daily costs
continue to mount. Current cost of Chemotherapy treatment alone (not counting surgeries and weekly radiation treatments), are over $4,800 WEEKLY. With copays due at each visit.
We desperately need everyone's help so that Natalie can concentrate her efforts on the fight she must face.
