Autumn's kidney transplant

Hey, just a little background info here, with out going in to too many details...

I was diagnosed with diabetes when I was 9 years old. It was difficult to deal with then and, honestly, never got much easier for me. Now due to the 20+ years of struggling to control my blood sugars my kidneys have been damaged. I have been doing daily perotoneal dialysis treatments at home since this past May. I'm now in end stage renal failure and need to have a kidney transplant.

My amazing mother has offered to donate her kidney to me and luckily she's a good match!

The money raised will go towards my medical bills, hospital stay and many (many, many) doctors appointments. I will also need to be out of work for several weeks while recovering from the surgery and the money will help to cover daily life during that time.

I can't wait to get this process over with, start feeling better and get back to doing more of the activities I love
