Autumn's Community Support in Cambodia
Note: All finances are being handled by my dad as I am not 18.
Hello, my name is Autumn and I'm 14 years old.
In 2027 I will be travelling to Cambodia with Camps International to help with community projects and to learn the local culture. In my time there I hope to help the less fortunate whilst learning new skills.
With camps international, I will take part in projects such as, teaching English and helping the local communities build and maintain new infrastructure, such as schools, homes and water storage.
I will also be lucky enough to partake in a 4 day trek through the country, visiting various historical sites, learning about Cambodia and its turbulent history.
To raise funds, I have already started a crochet business and will do sponsored walks totalling 350 miles.
This journey to Cambodia is very important to me and I want to offer meaningful help to the local community. I am very grateful for the opportunities I have from living in the UK, and I'm aware that this privilege is not shared by everyone. This fuels my commitment to make a positive impact where I can. For me, this is far more than just a trip; it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience the outside world, contribute to the well-being of others, and gain a new perspective on life.
The money raised from this fundraising will be used to pay for the expedition. Any additional money raised will be passed on and donated to Camps International.
If you'd like to support me on this journey, please consider making a donation, every donation, no matter how big will be greatly appreciated. You can also share this page with friends and family to help spread the word.
Thank you so much for your support. I'm very excited for this wonderful opportunity to make a positive impact in Cambodia!
