Autumn Chase Fire
Donation protected
Hi everyone, I am a 22 year old African American male that recently was a survivor of a horrific fire where I was not at fault. I escaped the fire by jumping off of my balcony with nothing but a pair of sweats on. I was never informed that my renter’s insurance through the apartment complex did not cover any of the items inside of my apartment. That being said, Over 90% of my personal belongings are not salvageable and the ones that are still have severe smoke damage. I was working for the United States Postal Service as an essential worker through the pandemic. As of now, I have missed several days of work trying to find transportation and a reliable place to live until I replace my car keys and find a new place to stay. I was working on becoming a real estate broker and making music on the side, as I put nearly 2 years into building a home studio. Anyone willing to donate or share my story is greatly appreciated, especially during these tough times! Thank you!
