Autumn Harrison's Go Fund Me
Donation protected
On Feb 6, Autumn went into the hospital after suffering from a migraine for almost 3 weeks. Along with blood work, the hospital ran an MRI, CT scan, an MRV, and a spinal tap/lumbar puncture, all which came back clear and healthy. The staff administered several different types of medication Tuesday night and by Wednesday morning she became incoherent. The right side of her face began to droop, her speech began to slur and she was unable to recall things.
Worried that Autumn may have been overdosed on medication, she was given Narcan. Initially the doctors believed Autumn may have had a stroke, but additional MRI and CT scan reflected her brain is in perfect condition.
The doctor’s believe what Autumn is experiencing is related to the multiple medications she was provided, however her neurologist believes these symptoms are reversible.
Autumn was released from the hospital on 2/13 with the migraine she originally went to the hospital for but left with several new challenges. In addition to the drooping on the right side of her face and slurred speech, she now requires the use of a walker and everyday tasks are not obtainable without assistance.
Dan and Autumn stand strong in the Lord and his timing. They are humble people that could really use any kind of support while they adapt to the recent changes.
Autumn is a stay at home mom of 4 beautiful children that she homes schools. Right now Autumn requires around the clock care. Going back to day to day life seems overwhelming but Autumn is the most hopeful of anyone and strongly believes she will be restored.
We are hopeful that the community of family, friends and coworkers can come together to support them as much we can. Originally there was discussion of a meal train however it was determined a Go Fund Me page would enable the Harrison's to use donations where they are most needed.
Thank you!
