Wendy's mom, Tracy Martin passed away unexpectedly on Thursday. She was a healthy 78 year old with no pre-existing conditions. She visited her doctor with some heart-related symptoms. She was given an EKG which was normal. Her doctor her told that her heart was "beating from a different chamber" but it wasn't anything to worry about . The doctor suggested that she get her COVID-19 booster (3rd shot) which she agreed to. She was given the shot and sent home. She passed sometime that night. Wendy is, understandably, devastated and left with so many questions. She was told there was no need for an autopsy and that, if she wanted one, she'd have to arrange for one privately. As you can imagine, this is estimated to be VERY costly. If you are able, please help us give Wendy the opportunity to find answers and closure about her mom's death. If we are not able to raise enough to cover the autopsy costs, all money raised will be given to Wendy for funeral / memorial costs.
