AutoHaven Motorsports: Driven by Students, Powered by You

We’re AutoHaven Motorsports, UNC Charlotte’s first-ever endurance racing team embarking on our inaugural season. We’re a student-run organization building more than just a race car - we’re building future engineers, mechanics, and motorsport professionals.

Our team is made up of passionate students who are designing, building, and racing a competitive endurance car completely from scratch. We don’t receive any funding from the university, so every part and tool has come directly from our pockets so far - that’s where you come in.

We kicked off this journey with pure determination and creativity, starting with a $100 Chevy Cobalt we rescued off Facebook Marketplace, with a goal of turning it into a race-ready endurance machine.

We’re proud to share that Lucky Dog Racing has already stepped up to support our mission by generously covering our track entry fee, a huge help that got us to the starting line. Now, we’re looking for more incredible supporters in our community to help us become a team that learns, grows, and races hard in this incredible sport.

Our goal isn’t just to race, it’s to grow into a team built on passion, perseverance, and hands-on learning. We vow to earn your trust and be a true partner - we’re happy to share how every dollar is used to support the build, the team, and our learning goals.

Your support will help us:

• Purchase critical parts and materials for our car build

• Purchasing safety components (i.e helmets, race suits, interior cage, HANS device, fire suppression, etc.)

• Cover travel and logistics for race weekends

• Provide hands-on learning opportunities for students in real-world motorsport engineering

Every dollar gets us one step closer to the track, and gives students a chance to apply classroom knowledge in a high-performance, high-stakes environment.
