Auto Salesperson Driven Over By Thief

Hi, my name is Justin Franks and I own Cherry Creek Automotive. I am fundraising for my employee Cole who has been a salesperson for our dealership for over 4 years.

On Saturday, June 24th around 5:40 pm, a man came to steal a vehicle. Unknowing his intentions, my salesperson met him on the lot, the man indicated that he did not want to test drive but just listen to the engine run. While my employee was closing the hood, the man casually moved to the driver's seat and proceeded to drive forward. With no opportunity to move, the salesperson quickly grabbed onto the push bar on the aftermarket bumper. After hanging on for approximately 30 yards, Cole fell off while this thief continued to drive over him with both tires on the driver's side. Then he fled the scene leaving employee with catastrophic injuries.

Cole has spent the last 5 days in ICU at University of Colorado Hospital having multiple procedures. The criminal is still on the loose as of this point and the Jeep has not been recovered.
