Update Spende für neues Auto ❤️

About me

Mein Name Ist Ireti (heisst Hoffnung) ich bin 21 Jahre alt und habe vor 2 Jahren meine Lehre erfolgreich als Fachfrau Betreuung abgeschlossen. Direkt nach meinem Abschluss wurde bei mir das Müller-Weiss-Syndrom diagnostiziert - eine unheilbare schmerzhafte und komplexe Fußknochen-Erkrankung.

Ich konnte in den letzten Monate gar nicht mehr länger als maximal 10 min laufen.

Nach langer und sehr ermüdenden Suche habe ich dann endlich ein Spezialisten in Basel gefunden (ich bin von Zürich).

Nun wurde ich vor 2 Wochen operiert. Wie es dann weitergehen wird mit laufen etc. weiss ich im Moment noch nicht. Ich bin nun auf Krücken + Rollstuhl angewiesen und benötige Betreuung, sowie Fahrten zu Ärzten eben in Basel und Therapien.

Aktuell stehe ich noch vor einer zusätzlichen Herausforderung.

Damit ich zu den Ärzten und Therapien gefahren werden kann durch meine Mutter und für die normale Bewältigung unseres herausfordernden Alltages brauchen wir ein Auto.

Unser jetziges Auto ist jedoch völlig am Ende: 

kaputt, unsicher, eng – der Kofferraum geht oft nicht auf, das Einladen des Rollstuhls ist nur möglich wenn alles umgestellt wird, da nur 3-türig und auch dann ist es nicht möglich zu sitzen, weil das Bein gestreckt bleiben muss. Die Verwendung des Autos ist so leider nicht mehr möglich.

Da ich aber nun keine eigenen Einkünfte habe und auf Sozialhilfe angewiesen bin und meine Mutter nur ein geringes Einkommen hat, ist ein neues funktionierendes Auto für uns aktuell absolut nicht finanzierbar. Ich bin aber auf ein Auto angewiesen – für eben Arzttermine, Therapien und im Alltag.

Wir können selbst max. CHF 600.- beisteuern. Für den Rest bitte ich dringend um Hilfe.

Wir suchen wieder ein gebrauchtes Auto ab MFK mit 5 Türen, ausreichend Platz und Sicherheit – damit meine notwendigen Bedürfnisse gewährleistet sind.

Wirklich jede Spende – ob gross oder klein – hilft mir bestimmt weiter.

Dear Donors

My name is Ireti (which means Hope). I am 21 years old and successfully completed my apprenticeship as a childcare specialist two years ago. Right after finishing my training, I was diagnosed with Müller-Weiss syndrome – a painful, incurable, and complex bone disease in the foot. 

In recent months, I haven't been able to walk for more than 10 minutes at a time. After a long and exhausting search, I finally found a specialist in Basel (I live in Zurich). Two weeks ago, I underwent surgery. At this point, it’s still uncertain how things will develop regarding my ability to walk again. 

Right now, I rely on crutches and a wheelchair, and I need care, as well as transportation to doctors in Basel and to my therapy appointments. 

At the moment, I’m also facing an additional challenge: 

In order for my mother to take me to medical appointments and for us to manage our difficult everyday life, we need a car. However, our current car is in terrible condition: broken, unsafe, cramped – the trunk often doesn’t open, and loading the wheelchair is only possible with great difficulty. It’s a 3-door vehicle, and even then, there is no space to sit properly because my leg has to remain stretched out. Using the car like this is simply no longer possible. 

 

But since I currently have no income of my own and am dependent on social welfare, and my mother earns only a small income, buying a new and functioning car is absolutely out of reach for us financially. Yet I desperately need a car – for medical appointments, therapy, and daily life. We are able to contribute a maximum of CHF 600 ourselves. For the rest, I am urgently asking for your help. 

We are looking for a used car that has passed inspection (MFK), with 5 doors, sufficient space, and safety – so that my essential needs can be met.
