Hello, my name is Daniela. I'm starting a fundraiser for Emily and her family.

DIAGNOSIS: In 2022, Emily was diagnosed with autism. Her neurologist then requested an MRI of her head. The results revealed a strange mass, which worried the specialist and us as parents even more. From there, she was referred to a geneticist. In 2024, the geneticists informed us that she suffered from the PTEN condition (This mutation can cause the development of benign tumors and increase the risk of developing certain types of cancer).

Now in April 2025 we went through two very unfortunate situations with our little girl at her special school which she attended for 2 years which is located in Long Island NY, our daughter suffered two "accidents" one in the head and another in her finger which needed surgeries. It has been a terrible few months as a result of this situation, going through scams, in doctors, her mother was hospitalized for anxiety and depression that this situation generated, we lost our home where we rented, loss of days and hours of work, Emi's father is the only support we have. And we have to continue fighting day by day with this, the doctors say that Emi will most likely lose feeling in her finger. We have to continue a long and expensive fight to seek answers and justice, so that this does not happen again with more children.
