Autism Unit in St Kilian’s School

Hi my name is Ciara, I am 44 yrs of age and have decided to do the Dublin Marathon this year, it’s my first time to do a marathon so I may run walk and crawl it but I am really looking forward to crossing that finish line

My Anna is 10 yrs old and was diagnosed with Autism and ADHD , I had Anna diagnosed when she was 2 years old and had been a whirlwind for us ever since, we try make life as stress free for Anna as much as possible , even a walk to the park can end up being so difficult for her , but over the years we have discovered what Anna loves and worked with that to make life happier and easier for her , Anna attends st Kilians school in Kingswood and loves her time in school with her amazing teacher and SNA’s

I have done a few fundraisers over the years and this year Ive decided not to do the fundraising for a big charity and instead do it for the school that my daughter Anna attends as they are in need of new equipment in the ASD unit to help our children who attend the school to be in an environment that will help them learn at their own pace in a relaxed happy space for their schooling time there

Anna has two more years in this school but I would love to raise as much funds possible for the school not only for my daughter but for all the other beautiful children that will walk through the doors of St Kilian’s over the years

so if you can spare a few quid any amount I will be super grateful as it all adds up and I know will be put to good use in at Kilian’s school
