Dear friends, family, and fellow music lovers,

Chorus Austin is a community dedicated to the principles of excellence, connection, and inclusion who believe in the power of music to brings people together and touch hearts, both in our hometown of Austin and beyond.

In summer 2025, we have been invited to bring our voices to Austria, a country with a rich musical heritage that has inspired composers and musicians for centuries. Imagine standing in a centuries-old cathedral in Austria, voices lifted in songs that have transcended time and place in perfect harmony. This trip is more than just a performance tour; it’s a chance to share our love for music on a global stage, to learn from others, and to grow as musicians and individuals.

For me personally, this means a great deal. I have never traveled outside of the United States. I got my first passport ever just recently, which is thrilling. And to be singing in the historic buildings we will be performing in is icing on the cake.

I have been offered to be part of the amazing opportunity, but the financial challenge is daunting. The trip’s costs are significant: airfare, accommodations, meals, transportation, travel insurance, and participation fees. While I’m doing everything I can to save and budget, I’ve realized I need help, and I humbly ask for your support. Any contribution, no matter how small, will go directly towards covering these expenses. An additional way to contribute is to share this campaign with others.

In return, I promise to make the most of this experience. I will sing with all my heart, and upon my return share with you stories and music. This journey is not just mine; it’s ours.
