My Story

 

“I set up my sim at home and got in contact with Tim Macrow. I quickly got up to speed in my first professional simulation where I drove faster than all his current drivers. In every session I went faster and faster trying to beat my own lap time.

I’ve excelled to the point where I am over a second clear of the rest of the drivers

on two Victorian tracks on the AFO calendar.”

Giuliano is 26 years old born and raised in Melbourne, and has participated and excelled in sport his whole life. He first started Go-Karting at the age of 7 where he was regularly on track practicing, week in and week out.

Unfortunately the cost of motorsport even at a junior level was overwhelming and for his young parents who had just committed to purchasing and running their own business, it was not sustainable.

With motorsport on pause indefinitely, Giuliano gravitated toward mastering the game of soccer (football). Giuliano had a brief stint in Spain at the age of 15 and played in the NPL (National Premier league) for Avondale FC and Moreland City in Victoria. Later in his career he acquired a position with the Juventus Academy in Melbourne coaching some of the best young talent in the state. He completed intensive training at the Juventus Stadium in Turin, Italy, working with the official Seria A Juventus Football Team annually during his time at the academy.

Throughout his football career, Giuliano’s dream to compete as a motorsport driver was persistent and ever present. It was the end of 2020 that he decided he would take his fate into his own hands and begin training to finally make his debut.

Giuliano is currently testing in his car, the Mygale FB02. As he prepares for the Australian Formula Open Championship (AFO).

 

Motorsport is and will always be an expensive sport. Giuliano has managed to acquire a guaranteed seat in the championship and is attempting to fund his 2023/2024 season both personally, through sponsorship and now through donation. Every bit of support can edge Giuliano one step closer to his dream.
