We are a team of three women selected to represent Australia at this year's Icelandic Horse World Championships, being held in Switzerland. This is the first time Australia is competing and we couldn't be more excited! This incredible experience is fully self-funded by the riders. As you can imagine, there are a lot of costs that add up - not only our own travel costs, but also everything that involves borrowing horses in Europe, training for several weeks, getting the whole support crew there and looked after. Why are we doing this crazy adventure you may ask? Well, all three of us are very passionate about the breed and love promoting the Icelandics in our country and we are thrilled to be able to bring back more knowledge and contacts to the rest of the community. We feel absolutely honored to be given the chance to represent our country on the world stage and we want to do the best we possibly can - and for that we need your support! The more we can raise, the better we can prepare ourselves to give it our all.
