Fynn & Bindee are representing Australia at the 2023 WUSV IGP World Championship in Hungary, October 4-8.
This is the first time ever that two Australian born and trained German Shepherds are at a WUSV IGP World Championship - and their handlers are also their respective breeders.
Bindee & Fynn qualified to represent Australia at the WUSV IGP3 World Championship at the 2023 WGSDCA National Championship in June. There will be over 100 German Shepherds competing at the event and many countries represented.
Help us promoting Australia, the German Shepherd and the sport in Australia. Help us promoting working dogs who are companion, family and sporting dogs. All funds raised will be used towards dog travel costs: $4,500 for each dog to Europe, $12,000 to get them back home. Then add the export/import paperwork needed, quarantine and multiple vet visits to meet various requirements to get the dogs back to Australia.
IGP dogsport was originally introduced for the German Shepherd some 120 years ago. It was used to identify dogs with correct behavioural characteristics and sound temperament as well as to demonstrate workability and trainability. All German Shepherds of today trace their roots back through the sport of IGP. Today, the sport is a source of great enjoyment to both human and canine participants. It's an outdoor hobby that provides a venue for working dog breeds to use their energy and natural instincts - it's a sport that focuses on the welfare and health of today's working dog breeds.
