Austin's Dream House

Hi! My name is Austin and I am almost 23 years old. Yes, I have autism and a seizure disorder, but I am so much more than those two things. I am really funny and I make people laugh all the time. I collect sunglasses (as you can see) and DVDs. I love movies, Scooby Doo, stickers, bowling, activity books, gem mining, cheeseburgers and Reese's Peanut Butter cups - really anything with peanut butter and chocolate! I have a part time job making chocolates at the Dillsboro Chocolate Factory and volunteer at the WCU library. I also shred paper at my Mommy's office and at a few schools.
I love my Mommy and Daddy, but I am growing up. I want to be a man and have my own place. I want to be like my brother who gets to live on his own. I lived with roommates for two years and I learned how to do things for myself around the house. I can't live too far from my parents so I am building a small house right above theirs. We are going to have walkie talkies to talk to each other and I think that is so cool!
Building a house is expensive, but people like my Aunt Valerie, Uncle Patrick and Dillon's Dad are helping me, so I'm able to do it. Mommy and Daddy keep telling me that a lot of other people also want to help me, so we set up this GoFundMe to help me pay for the big things that will go in my house like an oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, washer and dryer, and furniture. Mommy also said she is going to set up a wish list on Amazon for other things I will need.
Maybe some time you could come and swing on my porch with me!
