Hi, I’m Andi and my nephew, Austin, was in an unfortunate accident involving a playground on Monday, 01/26/2026. Swinging from a rotating contraption, he fell and hit a concrete curb. This accident caused a severe fracture to his skull resulting in a concussion and brain bleed. Austin was taken to the hospital via ambulance where he suffered seizures and life saving measures had to be taken to get him in stable condition. Austin will hopefully be able to return home soon, however, the road to recovery will be long. Austin is unable to eat solid foods, and cannot partake in regular kid activities for months. Once swelling is down, he will need surgery to repair his frontal bone, as well as his right eye. This has been extremely traumatic for Austin and his family and as they continue on the road to recovery, I wanted to do everything in my power to bring them as much comfort as possible. With the hospital bills, leave from work, and a 1 month old baby at home, this family has been turned upside down this month. Please help and donate so this family can focus on Austin’s full recovery and the health/happiness of the family and not stress about being able to afford the hospital bills, groceries, and necessities.
