We are reaching out on behalf of our 24 year old nephew, Austin Guenthner, who is fighting for his life as he waits for a life-saving heart transplant. In April 2023, Austin was admitted to Cedars-Sinai hospital in Los Angeles after experiencing heart failure. In the month since he was admitted to the hospital, he has had to endure countless tests and multiple procedures to stabilize his heart, and while he was able to go home briefly, his condition rapidly worsened. Austin is now in the ICU where he will remain until he can receive a new heart.
Austin has been through a lot of pain and trauma, but he is a fighter with a will to battle through this, and we are so thankful for his strength and courage. However, his medical bills are skyrocketing, and the cost of a heart transplant alone is significant. He and his family are facing substantial financial impact, and the burden is only getting heavier with each passing day. Austin needs our help to overcome this life-altering challenge.
That's where you come in. Your donation will help ease the financial burden that Austin and his family are facing and give them the support they need to focus on his recovery. Our goal is to raise $150,000 to help cover some of the costs of Austin's medical treatment, medication, recovery expenses, relocation costs, and life-saving heart transplant. All donations will be sent directly to Austin and his family.
Austin has an unparalleled zest for life and lights up a room with energy and enthusiasm wherever he goes! He is an ambitious, hard-working young man who has incredible plans for how he wants to contribute to this world, and a plan to get there! Austin graduated from the University of Southern California in 2021, and was enjoying life after college as he was building his career in wealth management in Los Angeles, but this shocking diagnosis has sidelined his dreams and put his career on hold for now. We know Austin has a bright future ahead of him. With your help, he can continue to focus on his health and healing so he will thrive once again. Your contribution will make a significant impact on his journey to recovery and give him the chance to live the full, vibrant life he deserves.
Thank you for reading Austin's story. Please consider donating to his GoFundMe page and sharing it with your friends and family. Together, we can help Austin make it through this devastatingly challenging time.
