Austin’s Fourth Bombing Victim

It is with a humbled heart that I am setting up this campaign as the mother of Will Grote, a victim and survivor of the serial bombings in Austin, Texas.

Around 8:30pm we were walking towards the park when a homemade bomb was triggered by a tripwire laid across the sidewalk in the quiet southwest Austin neighborhood where I live. I was rushed to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with severe injuries to both my legs. I am still recovering from nerve damage and surgery after spending two weeks in rehab and will continue physical therapy to regain mobility.  This campaign is intended to help my parents and I through this ordeal while I cannot work. Any support is greatly appreciated!”

We are eternally grateful for the love and support and  know we are more than blessed to have son home.
