Austin’s Fourth Bombing Victim

Donation protected
It is with a humbled heart that I am setting up this campaign as the mother of Will Grote, a victim and survivor of the serial bombings in Austin, Texas.
“On the evening of March 18th my friend Colton and I were victims of the fourth bombing attack. Around 8:30pm we were walking towards the park when a homemade bomb was triggered by a tripwire laid across the sidewalk in the quiet southwest Austin neighborhood where I live. I was rushed to St. David’s South Austin Medical Center with severe injuries to both my legs. I am still recovering from nerve damage and surgery after spending two weeks in rehab and will continue physical therapy to regain mobility.  This campaign is intended to help my parents and I through this ordeal while I cannot work. Any support is greatly appreciated!”
Will is an avid cyclist and hiker and is eager to get back on his feet as soon as he is able. As this chapter comes to an end, we are optimistic and looking forward to his full recovery.

We are eternally grateful for the love and support and  know we are more than blessed to have son home.
