Hi, my name is Dylan, and I'm reaching out on behalf of my co-worker/brother, Austin Brooks.

A hard-working, selfless, and dedicated human being, Austin is 31 years old, with congestive heart failure. We have to attack this early so we can find answers.

In March 2025, Austin started his medical journey with what appears to be congestive heart failure. Austin has been between doctors and emergency rooms continuously. Though heart failure runs in his family, Austin continues to seek answers for medical treatment options. Doctors are pointing fingers at heart failure, but Austin needs financial assistance for more testing and monthly living expenses. Unfortunately, doctors are not able to pinpoint a solution or a treatment plan.

The goal is for Austin to be admitted to a Mayo Clinic, for them to run quality testing, and for him to receive treatment. I understand this is early in Austin's journey, but already he is struggling.

Austin has been working at the Knox County Sheriff's Office doing what he loves. Unfortunately, due to over-exhaustion and pain. Some days, Austin is not well enough to make it in for his shift. Austin's monthly income does not allow him to cover his monthly bills and medical costs. Austin has been through the wringer the past three months with constantly changing medications, multiple tests on his body, and doctor visits. Austin has gained nearly 100 pounds due to water retention. Even walking up and down stairs completely drains him.

Within these three months, he has been through 24 tests already! As shocking as that may be, this is only the beginning.

These tests and visits have already racked up over $28,000 in medical bills, with no answers. Absolutely anything would help Austin's cause. He needs to focus all of his energy on getting healthy and staying positive.
