We know many people are just now hearing about Austin, so we wanted to share a brief update.

Recently, Austin suffered a serious stroke, and our days right now are centered around helping him heal, rest, and take recovery one step at a time. There have been a lot of emotions, unknowns, and adjustments, but he continues to show strength and determination that makes us incredibly proud. As we move forward, there will be ongoing medical care, rehabilitation, and new routines as he focuses on getting stronger.

The love, prayers, messages, and support from friends, family, and even people we’ve never met have meant more to us than we can put into words. Truly, just knowing Austin is surrounded by so much encouragement has lifted our spirits during some very heavy days.

Many people have asked if there is anything more they can do to help. Because of those continued requests, a GoFundMe page exists simply as an option for anyone who feels led — but please know there is absolutely no expectation. Your continued prayers, kindness, and positive thoughts are already a tremendous gift to our family.

Austin continues to make incredible progress, and we are beyond grateful for how far he has come. Every day he is getting stronger, more determined, and more motivated to push forward in his recovery. His resilience amazes us. He’s putting in the work, staying positive, and focusing on each victory — each one building toward something bigger.

We are also so thankful that Austin is in such an incredible place for this next phase of recovery at UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital. Being at a facility known for its outstanding care, advanced therapies, and compassionate team gives us so much peace of mind. He is exactly where he needs to be, surrounded by experts who are helping him continue to move forward.

And we want to say thank you — truly, from the bottom of our hearts — for the unimaginable love and support shown through his GoFundMe. The amount that has been given, the countless shares, the prayers, the messages, and the encouragement have lifted us more than you know.
