Austin Ryan Palmer: 5/10/1987 - 5/8/2017.
If you were fortunate enough to know Austin, you know that he had a passion for life which refused to be ignored. A passion that could only be matched by his love for his friends and family. No matter what, he always fought for what he believed in.
After becoming seriously ill with a heart infection back in 2015, Austin did what he did best: he refused to take no for an answer. Despite the odds, he recovered and blessed us all with two more wonderful years of his contagious grin, big heart, and lovable stubborness. On 5/8/17, heaven came calling a second time and he just couldn't say no twice.
The unfortunate reality of life is that nothing comes without a cost. Bringing Austin home from Boston, moving Lysa back to Lindsborg, and funeral services all add up quickly. Lysa and the Palmer family would never ask you for money. They would never tell you about how expensive everything is. But they don't have to.
They have friends and family who love them and are mourning Austin's loss as well. Many people have asked what they could do to help, so with Lysa's permission, we have organized this GoFundMe to help ease some of the financial burden of losing Austin. Nothing will make the pain of losing him go away, but we will do what friends and family do best, we will be there for Lysa and for each other.
