Austin - You Got This!

It's been almost 8 years since Austin's life threatening accident in the Grand Canyon where he experienced a traumatic brain injury and his miraculous recovery. He has remained tough during every obstacle or challenge that he has faced in that time. Several weeks ago Austin had a series of significant seizures at work. He was transported to a hospital in El Paso where he was placed in sedation and remained in ICU for many days. The seizures took their toll and Austin has some physical therapy and cognitive rehab to return to his vigorous self.
He has now been released from the hospital, but will be convalescing at home and it will be some time before he is able to return to work. Your prayers or well wishes would be appreciated for a speedy recovery.
In the meantime, since Austin will be without income, we are looking to raise some money to cover his living costs (rent, utilities, food) so he can focus on his health.
Austin has always been a fighter. He wants to return to his job at the school, tending his garden, and selling stuff at the Co-op. And in time -- we know he will. He's got this! But it would sure make things much better if he didn't fall behind on his bills, and have to struggle financially while he battles back from the trauma to his brain. Please consider giving him a high five (or ten or twenty) in the next week to show him how much support he has out there. These funds will go to pay for his immediate bills and costs of living until he returns to work.
