Austin Reid Kapono "Dad" Chantry
Donation protected
Austin Reid Kapono Chantry has lived in Teton Valley for over half his life. He loved hiking the trails, disc golfing, meeting new people, and going to concerts. From working on building homes, crushing everyone at almost any board game, to playing with his beloved dogs Okie and Bridger. He took anyone and everyone in that he could, and was always up for deep conversations and advice sessions. His heart and soul were bigger than this world and he will be missed as much as he is loved. He is able to save up to possibly 70 people with his amazing heart and soul and many more people who walked through this life with him. His soul and memory will live on in those lives he touched and inspired. He is able to continue to live and save, even in death.
With how sudden this tragedy was, any and every donation to help purchase him a memorial stone at Darby Cemetary for those who love him to visit and cover expenses for his family, would be so greatly appreciated.
More information to come in regards to a memorial and celebration of life.
For now, let us all remember to live like Austin with warmth, kindness, love, compassion, justice, and to keep space in our hearts and minds for the ones who need it the most. Tell your friends and family you love them always, look for signs that something might be on their minds and hearts and never be afraid to do what is right.
We'll meet again someday and you better show us all the new hiking trails and disc golf courses you find.
We'll pour out a Ranier for you.
Love you and miss you, Dad.
