Austin Longo and family

Hello friends and family! My name is Jackie Thoms and I am reaching out on behalf of Heather, Austin and Vincent.

One of my dearest friends is faced with a hardship that is a parents greatest fear. The Longo family, from Syracuse NY, has fallen on hard times while Austin's health has declined drastically. He was diagnosed with epilepsy when he was 19. Medications managed his symptoms until recently, when he started have 3 types of cluster seizures. Now he has to be under supervision 24 hours a day, waiting further testing. Heather usually wouldn't show her silent struggle with loosing her husband Mike 6 years ago (when Austin's seizures started) or that her home is bordering on forclosure, but when she asked for help I knew things were seriously overwhelming for them. Heather has reached her family leave threshold, and is home with her boys full-time. My hope and prayer is to see love, health and lightheartedness restored to their home.
