Austin Jarrett Memorial
John “Austin” Jarrett’s bright shining light went out too early too soon on October 22nd.
His tough exterior could never hide his true heart of gold. Austin was always wanting to make people laugh - even during the hardest of times. His smile was genuine and infectious. He loved his MaMa and family they were always first foremost. His generosity and kindness was limitless. His last last words on the phone were always “I love you”!
He loved the Pittsburg Steelers, his blue Lexus coupe, fishing, OG life and spending time with his friends. His gentle soul had deep love and compassion for animals.
Austin chased adrenaline, the thrill of life and was a warrior against addiction. He fought with it openly, honestly and found strength, wisdom and optimism in the struggle with dependency.
Austin is adored, loved and cherished by his parents Cathie Hurley, Rusty Jarrett and Tammy Jarrett; brothers Kyle Jarrett, fiancé Kennedy Harrleson, Nick Jarrett; cousin’s Madhavi and Vikram Trikha; grandparents Ginger G-Mom Hurley, Bett and Bobby Long, Tom and Paula Jarrett and family; Uncles Brent Jarrett, Jeremy Long, Dan Hurley, Frank Hurley and Aunt Robin Shelton and family. He is also loved by so many others in hislarge family.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents Frank “G-Dad” Hurley, Glenda “GG” Hurley and step-dad Patrick Jones.
In addition to his family, Austin is survived by a wide and diverse circle of friends who love and respect him.
As you know, funerals are expensive and saying goodbye to a loved one is hard enough in itself. No parent should have to bury their child and we want to give Austin the service he deserves. With your help, Austin’s friends and family can say a proper goodbye in celebration of his life.
