Support for Austin's Heart Recovery

Donation protected
Our family cannot thank you enough for the many prayers and support during this difficult time for my brother, Austin Walters.

For those that don’t know, on December 5th, my brother rushed to the E.R. after experiencing constant lower back and arm pain. After running many tests, the medical team overseeing Austin’s care determined he had an unexpected heart attack and showed multiple blockages that were caused by a genetic predisposition. He was transferred from a hospital in New Jersey to the University of Philadelphia hospital to receive critical care until surgery could be scheduled.

On December 11, my brother underwent a 6 hour quadruple bypass heart surgery. By God’s miraculous hand, he was given one of the best surgeons in Philadelphia and his surgery was very successful. Our family cannot be more grateful to God for not only saving Austin’s life, but also giving him an amazing medical team.

Austin was released from the hospital on December 17th and is finally settled at home. He now faces an 8-12 week recovery and will be out of commission and unable to work for the next few months. A full recovery is expected to be 6-9 months from now.

Many of you know, Austin has faced unimaginable loss with losing his beloved wife, Christi, to cervical cancer 3 years ago. During her cancer battle, he was her primary caregiver and unable to work full-time while she was in the fight for her life. After losing her, he has been trying to get back on his feet and became a biomagnetism therapist with a passion to help people with their wellness journey. Over a year ago, he sold everything to move to New Jersey to start anew, connect with other therapists in the area, and open his own practice, solterrabiomag.com. He is still in the process of building up his clientele, but his business will now be on hold, until he can begin working again.

These trials have been very heavy for him to bear. My prayer is that this GoFundMe will overwhelm him with God’s love and lift the heavy financial burden off of his shoulders, so he can focus on healing. Our family cannot thank you enough for every prayer for him and any financial gift you may feel led to give.
