Help Austin Fight Rare and Aggressive Cancer
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
We’re reaching out with love and hope to support someone very dear to us, Austin, a 23-year-old recent college graduate, Eagle Scout, and all-around amazing human being who has just been diagnosed with Primary Mediastinal B-Cell Lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.
Austin’s health struggles began last October. He was coughing up blood, having trouble breathing, and losing weight rapidly. At first, doctors believed it was pneumonia, but when treatments didn’t help, further scans revealed a large mass in his chest near his heart. After months of tests, biopsies, and hospital stays, the diagnosis finally came and it changed everything.
Austin is now preparing for the fight of his life.
His case has been referred to MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas, one of the top cancer hospitals in the country. He’ll be undergoing aggressive chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and steroid treatments that require frequent hospital stays and round-the-clock monitoring. He’s also meeting with fertility specialists to preserve options for the future, knowing how intense treatment will be.
Austin is a fighter, but this is a battle no one should face alone.
How You Can Help
With Austin unable to work and treatment taking place out of state, the financial burden is overwhelming. We’re raising funds to help cover:
• Cancer treatment and hospital care
• Travel and lodging for MD Anderson visits
• Fertility preservation procedures
• Out-of-pocket medical costs
• Daily living expenses during treatment
Every donation—big or small—makes a difference. Even if you’re unable to give right now, sharing this page with your network can help us reach the people who can.
