Ballet Austin Intensive Program

I recently auditioned for a chance to participate in the Ballet Austin Summer Intensive in Austin Texas. Auditions are held at over 30 cities across the country to be selected for the competitive program. I am very excited to have been selected and for the opportunity to possibly attend the intensive to improve my skills and learn more about ballet. This intensive would be in addition to the summer intensive I take each summer at the Lafayette Ballet Company where I am an apprentice. Tuition and travel for the intensive in Austin Texas in addition to my other responsibilities with the LBC is costly. I plan on working to raise as much funds as possible over the next few months and with the help of my parents to cover the fees. I need to make a decision by March 6th on whether I can accept an invitation to participate in the intensive. I am setting up a Go Fund Me page as an additional fundraiser in my efforts to reach my goal of going to Ballet Austin in July. I greatly appreciate any contributions that I receive. I realize that if I am able to attend it will be a great privilege and I will be very grateful to my friends and family for helping me.
