Hi, I'm Austin's sister Amy Clark Freeman. I am hopeful that this family's story will reach the hearts of many! Austin, along with my beautiful sister-in-law Viva Clark are over the moon to be having their third boy.

When Viva attended the anatomy scan in her 20 week ultrasound, she received the shocking news that their precious baby boy has Spina Bifida and club feet. As this news was shared, the whole family immediately felt both overwhelming love and anxiety for her and this baby boy growing inside her. The unknowns on his condition are sobering.

The Clarks have had to travel to Texas Children's Hospital in Houston, TX from their home in Arkansas to get the best care for Viva and the baby. They have endured hours of scans and tests to determine what actions to take. Their medical team, Austin, and Viva feel it best for the baby to have open fetal surgery to close the opening in the spinal cord. This will give the baby a better chance at managing the complications to Spina Bifida in his future (hydrocephalus, etc.). We want him to have every chance to live a fulfilling and beautiful life.

The Clarks will have to remain near Texas Children's Hospital in Houston for up to a month while Viva recovers and is monitored by her medical team. Any funds that are raised will go towards the continual care and support that they will need at this uncertain time. Any support is so appreciated!

The donations will be used to:

1.) help fund their stay while they are in Houston for 2-4 weeks while Viva recovers from the intrauterine surgery,

2.) their moving costs to Utah to receive the best care for their baby, and

3.) any medical expenses accrued for the surgery and upcoming NICU stay for baby boy (doctors say he will be there for at least one month).
