Echo Dawn

Our sweet angel Echo Dawn was taken to McKay Dee hospital ER on Friday evening because she was having difficulty breathing due to a bad case of RSV.   She was later life flighted to Primary Children's hospital due to respiratory distress and collapsing alveoli (tiny air sacs in your lungs).   She was admitted to the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and placed on a ventilator.  Echo spent three days in the PICU, while her loving mother watched her 6 week old child struggle to take every breath.  Because of COVID-19, Austin was not allowed to be with his newborn daughter or provide comfort and support to his wife.

The Doctors and Nurses at Primary Children's are the best in the nation, they took incredible care of both Echo and Somer and I'm happy to report they were released yesterday evening. 

Although the kids have insurance, like many American's, the coverage isn't very good and as you can imagine, their hospital bills are very high.

The outpouring of love and support from friends and family has been humbling.  Many of you have asked what you can do to help.   A phone call and a kind word mean the world to the kids and nothing more is expected, however, for those of you that have asked about helping financially, we have set up a GoFundMe account to help with some of their medical bills.
