It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Austen Patrick Carey on September 14, 2023.
For those who know Austen, I think we could all agree that he was one of the best people. He was a loving and gentle person, a funny and cheerful friend and he would do anything to help one of us in a time of need.
A special thank you goes out to Collin Knock, a long-time Carey family friend, for rallying behind both Austen’s wife, Candice, and sister, Crystal, during this time and for setting up this GoFundMe to help with the costs for Austen’s estate along with memorial celebrations in both TX and MN so that all that loved Austen can attend.
