Dr. Austen Cory Duffy Ph.D. (A.K.A. "Duff" )

 

Dr. Austen Cory Duffy, 41 of Navarre, FL passed away on August 26, 2021. In the wake of his passing he leaves behind not only wife Melinda Duffy, daughters Charlotte Duffy and Lorelai Duffy, family members, and friends - he leaves a hole in our hearts that cannot be closed.

 

Austen married his wife, Melinda Duffy November 01, 2015. Melinda and Austen would say “I Lava You” which demonstrates their truly fun love for each other. He was a wonderful father to Charlotte and Lorelai. Austen enjoyed spending time with his family. He was known to enjoy singing Disney karaoke with his daughters. He loved his wife and enjoyed their quiet time on the porch at night talking about the future, and their girls. Not many people know, but he was the Co-founder of the successful “I Thought This Was Speed Dating” trivia team. As an adult, collecting Nintendo video games was a hobby of his. Austen enjoyed drinking India Pale Ale, but his love for beer drove him to become a successful microbrewer, starting Duffy’s Brewing Company. His friends know him as the life of the party and everyone’s handyman. Austen will always be remembered as a great husband, father, son, uncle, and friend.

 

We are thankful for the time we had with him and saddened by the thought of living without him. Our prayers and thoughts go out to Melinda and the girls. Colleague contributions made to this fundraiser will be matched by Bentley Systems
