Aussie runs 26.2 miles in memory of his Dad Mark Ncube.

Aussie has decided to run 26.2 miles in the memory of his Dad who tragically lost his life in a car accident in 2017. His Dad Mark was a very talented runner and always wanted to run the London Marathon. Unfortunately he never got the opportunity, due to his life being cut short. Aussie will cover the 26.2 miles throughout June 2024.

He has chosen to split whatever money he raises between, Chums Mental Health and Emotional Wellbeing Service, Hazeldene School and Bedford Park Rangers Football Club.

Chums initially gave him much needed bereavement support and helped him focus on happy memories with his Dad. They have continued to be a support when required.

Aussie is now at the end of his Hazeldene School journey. They have provided him with stability and support over the past 7 years, and have helped him achieve his full potential. He would therefore like to raise money towards a school minibus, this would be beneficial to the school as they attend many sporting events across the county. Aussie has excelled at many of these sporting events during his time at Hazeldene School.

Aussie's main passion in life is Football. He has played and enjoyed the game since he was 3 years old. Football is not only a source of enjoyment for him, it is an essential part of his life. His Football team and coaches have given him the confidence to carry on enjoying life and provided him with a sense of belonging. Aussie is currently part of two teams at Bedford Park Rangers. BPR under 11's Hurricanes and BPR under 11's Cyclones. Some of the money that he raises would therefore go into essential kit for these teams.
