Aussie Rescue SD Medical Fund
Aussie Rescue San Diego & Friends is a non-profit organization in San Diego finding homes for Australian Shepherds, Aussie mixes and others.
We need your help to pay down our medical bills so we can rescue more dogs!
In 2015 we took in many dogs who required extensive medical care before they were ready to adopt out to their forever homes, so our medical fund has been depleted and we can't take in any new dogs until we have paid our bills at several San Diego area veterinary clinics. Please help!
A few of the special medical needs dogs we have helped this year:

• Copper, a small male Aussie who needed surgery to repair two fractured legs as a result of a car accident. Copper was left at a vet hospital to be taken to the shelter where he would have been euthanized.

• Hailey, a young female Aussie mix rescued in October after she was hit by a car and found on the side of the road by animal control after hours of exposure, hyperthermic and dehydrated. She had a broken leg and pelvic fracture which have now healed.

• Blue, 4 year old Australian Shepherd who has been suffering from as-yet undiagnosed blood in his urinary tract.

• Petey, a young German Shepherd mix who was possibly hit by a car and had a fractured leg and some soft tissue injuries at a shelter.
Your donations are needed ASAP and will be used to pay these medical bills, so we can then continue taking in more dogs to find them forever homes. Your donations mean so much to us since we are a volunteer-run organization who relies on donations in order to save dogs!
Thank you so much for your donations, and please share this campaign with your friends and family!
