My name is Ryan and I am attempting to be the first to travel from Argentina to Alaska in a Tuktuk, accompanied by my rescued Doberman Patti. After +20,000 kilometers of issue free travel, we very luckily survived being rear ended and then flipped by a truck on the highway of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. While we escaped with minor scrapes and bruises, unfortunately Tuktuk Torii didn't. For this adventure to continue, we're going to need some help getting back on the road. This fund is to cover all costs for us travel to the Tuktuk Capital of Latin America in Lima, Peru where we will buy and completely modify Tuktuk (Toriii) to be the safest to ever exist.
Modification list below:
- Engine swap with a 400-600cc motorbike (+30% speed increase)
- Upgrade chassis for stabilization at new top speed
- Reinforce tuktuk frame (roll cage)
- Install off-road kit and all-terrain tires
- Reinforce suspension
- Improve brake capacity
- Improve steering
- Install seatbelts in front and adjust back for dog harness mount
- Upgrade total fuel capacity
- Improve front and back lighting for visibility
- Internal bed mod for desperate situations
These changes will give us the best and safest chance at reaching Alaska and we cannot do it without you.
