This is a Proof-of-Concept, aiming to shoot the feature by 2025.

If you are new to our journey, our film, 'AUSGANG, SOFIE' features Sofie, a mixed race Afro German girl in 1936 Germany. You can already imagine how challenging that may have been for her.

After being rejected from the Hitler Youth, 14-year-old mixed-race Sofie takes her quest for identity and escapism to the Nazi film industry.

The rejection Sofie experiences is visceral and a hugely significant moment in her life where she ends up being sent to live and work in a whole new world that is -- the Nazi Film Industry.

This is the first time that Sofie will be separated from her friends, and only known living relative, Aunt Minna.

This story has never been told, but is universal, timeless, widely relatable, and deserves to be seen by the world.
