On Monday, August 10, 2015, my 16 year old brother Trenton went to the ER with a migraine type headache and nausea.  A CT scan showed a large tumor on the left side toward the base of his brain.  Trenton was transported by ambulance to UC Davis Children's Hospital in Sacramento that day. On Wednesday, August 12, 2015, he underwent a 10 hour & 45 minute surgery. The surgical team was able to successfully remove 95% of  the tumor. Trenton has a long road to recovery ahead of him which may include additional treatments and physical therapy. We are so proud of his strength & faith in the Lord and so very thankful for the highly skilled surgeon and staff who made this surgery successful.

On August 18th and 19th (less than a week after his son's brain surgery) my dad, Brian, will undergo two spinal surgeries in two days to fuse his L4 and L5 vertebrae.

Although my dad and little brother have insurance, it doesn't cover everything. A potentially long road to recovery for both of them coupled with my dad's disability (preventing him from returning to work) has put a large financial strain on my family. Any help you might be able to provide, including prayers, is greatly appreciated.

Updates will be posted here regularly.
