My name is Jamie Barry, and I am creating this GoFundMe for my friend Mario Martin. Mario passed away suddenly while on vacation in Florida. Mario went to the emergency room for severe back pain, and after being told it was a pinched nerve, a week or so later on February 17th Mario was transported by ambulance to the hospital again, this time presenting with an epidural abscess on the t 12 of his spinal cord which led to septic shock, and was put on a ventilator within hours. Mario sadly passed away on March 6th. The expense of getting Mario home, during the age of COVID, is astronomical, and Mario's mom just cannot do it by herself. The money raised for Mario will go straight to paying to get him back to Saratoga Springs NY and expenses laying him to rest so that we can give him the funeral and burial that he deserves. Mario was only 32 years old. This is not something any parent could ever prepare for. Any amount is so deeply appreciated, and please share this, even if you cannot donate.
