I first met Jimenez as we were in the middle of a freezing Virginia winter, having both volunteered to go there in order to assist in Operation Allies Welcome. He had come because he felt the same calling that many Marines do, the need to reach out a helping hand to others in the most difficult of times. He did not gripe about his duties, but went about them with a smile, helping all who needed it. He spent his life dedicated to the ideals of serving those in need, and being a bright spot to his brothers on the hardest days.

Aurelio was a good man, a good friend, and a good Marine. Anything and everything helps, and will be appreciated.

All funds will be given to his mother, Gema Sainz.
